Gary Gunthorpe - President

• Graduated with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Manitoba in 1972.
• After filling two positions in the power utility industry, Mr. Gunthorpe started RigTronics Systems Ltd. in 1978. After substantial growth, the company was sold to Global Ehtermal Electric Systems Ltd. in Bassano, where he was Manager of New Business and Development for three years.
• Returning to Calgary in 1986, Mr. Gunthorpe accepted the position of VP Engineering at Champ Armstrong Systems Ltd., where he helped to develop the company to a level of $1M in sales.
• Mr. Gunthorpe has been responsible for the successful development of several electronic products, such as:
  • Mud Mole: Canada's first electronic drilling PVT system.
  • CompuCab: The first microcomputer based taximeter.
  • An automatic welding system for pipelines.
  • A system of high style enviromentally controlled showcase.
  • An Electro-medial treatment system.
• Mr. Gunthorpe remains an integral part of the Deltatee design team as the Sr. Project Development Engineer.
