- Graduated with a diploma in Electronics Technology from DeVry (Toronto) in 1965 and with B.Sc. (Honours) Geophysics from University of B.C. in 1970.
- Following one year in the employ of the B.C. Government and two years with Anaconda as a Geophysicist, Mr. James spent two years at DRTE (shirley Bay). Movinig to Calgary, he then spent 15 years as the Chief Design Engineer for Roke Oil Enterprises Ltd. There, he was responsible for the design of several down-hole tools, such as:
- A Focused beam elctric probe.
- A high flux gamma-ray sensor for high grade uranium ore.
- A side wall density tool.
- A multi-neutron tool.
- A high-resolution down-hole temperature tool (within +- 0.001 degrees C).
- He also developed serveral real-time and geophysical interpretation software packages.
- After serving briefly as Software Manager at Champ Armstrong Systems Ltd., he joind Deltatee Enterprises Ltd. In his role as VP Engineering, Mr. James is responsible for all the technical aspects of our electronic and software designs.
